In this discovery pack, you will find following wines:
- The Chardonnay Michiel 2019 from wine family Le Vie Angarano. This Chardonnay is the flagship wine of this small winery. A full-bodied and oily wood-aged Chardonnay from Veneto produced organically. Perfect for the dark days and with a nice full meal.
- The Letizia VSQ Metodo Classico from Diego Pressenda. This dry sparkling wine according to the method Champeneoise is the elegant and distinguished bubbly for Christmas dinner or to pop open during New Year's Eve. A beautiful dry sparkling wine of Riesling and Dolcetto made by winemakers from the heart of the Barolo region with aromas of dried fruit and floral notes and refreshing finish.
- Montali's Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOP. This grape variety can be found all over Italy but from Abruzzo it is best. The wine with deep straw yellow colour is persistent with pleasant acidity, making it perfect for your appetiser during the holidays.
- Cosimo Vestita's Primitivo Salento IGP . Primitivo is the wine for this time of year. Full and powerful in flavour that will tantalise your taste buds. From warm Puglia comes this popping yet smooth Primitivo to accompany all your hearty winter cooking.
- Claudia Cordara's Barbera d'Asti . The Barbera is the table wine of wine region Piedmont. And in Italy, that's the biggest compliment you can give a wine. Indeed, it goes well with almost any dish and is also the reason Casper and Gijs founded ONWINE 3 years ago!
- The ‘Napoleon’ Valle d'Aosta DOC Nebbiolo from Caves de Donnas. Nebbiolo wine is, by definition, a food wine. Its full-bodied flavour and pleasant tannins make it the perfect wine to accompany a full-bodied meaty or cheesy dish. From the iconic Valle d'Aosta comes this Nebbiolo named after one of its greatest lovers, Napoleon himself!
