This Grignolino d'Asti DOC is an authentic and characterful wine, made from 100% Grignolino grapes. The vineyard is situated on a southeastern slope, where the grapes can ripen optimally on clay-rich soils. Harvest takes place in the second week of September and is carried out entirely by hand. After destemming, the must undergoes fermentation on the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27-28°C for 8 to 12 days.
The wine has an elegant ruby-red color with orange highlights, a distinctive and refined aroma, and a characteristic, dry flavor with light tannins and a subtly spicy finish. With an alcohol content between 12.5 and 13%, it is a lively and versatile wine.
This Grignolino pairs perfectly with white meat, light appetizers, refined pasta dishes, and even fish. Serve it slightly chilled at 16-18°C to fully develop its delicate and fresh character. With a aging potential of 3 to 4 years, it retains its vibrancy and finesse.
