The Langhe DOC Nebbiolo is an elegant red wine made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes. These grapes thrive in chalky soils with a strong presence of tuff and are carefully harvested to ensure the highest quality. The wine undergoes traditional vinification, where after destemming and pressing, the grapes undergo maceration and alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation then takes place, after which the wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in wooden barrels. This process gives the wine its refined character and complexity.
In the glass, the wine presents itself with a beautiful ruby-red color and subtle orange hues, typical of Nebbiolo. The bouquet is delicate and soft, with a distinctive aroma that invites the first sip. The palate is dry and full-bodied, with a velvety texture that lingers on the tongue. The balance between freshness and maturity makes this wine both accessible and layered, ideal for lovers of elegant red wines.
The Langhe DOC Nebbiolo is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 18°C to 20°C and is the perfect accompaniment to refined appetizers and light meat dishes. Think truffle risotto, mushroom ravioli, or veal medallions in a mild sauce. Thanks to its structure and finesse, this wine is an excellent choice for those seeking a classic Italian wine with depth and elegance.
