This Barbera d'Asti DOCG from La Trava is a powerful and elegant red wine, made from 100% barbera. After aging for eight months in barriques, it develops impressive depth and complexity, without losing its fresh core.
The wine reveals itself in the glass with an intense purple-red color. The nose unfolds a rich aroma of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and berries, subtly interwoven with spicy notes of vanilla and pepper from the oak. On the palate, it is full and rounded, with a beautiful balance between ripe fruit notes, fresh acidity, and soft tannins. The finish is long and inviting, with a lingering freshness.
This Barbera d'Asti is an excellent choice with rich meat dishes like stew, game, or a classic osso buco. It also pairs perfectly with aged cheeses or mushroom dishes. Serve at 16-18°C for an optimal taste experience. A wine with character and charm, ideal for a special meal.
