Productomschrijving
This Dolcetto has an intense ruby red color with purple hues. The aroma is fruity and pleasant, with a fresh, dry taste that finishes with a subtle bitter almond note, delicately stimulating the palate. The wine has aromatic characteristics such as geraniol, making it particularly enjoyable even when young, but also suitable for medium aging.
The wine pairs perfectly with meat dishes, such as ravioli, and pairs beautifully with soft and medium-mature cheeses, as well as with various appetizers. When young, it's an ideal accompaniment to "bagna cauda," a traditional Piedmontese dish.
The Dolcetto comes from the Diano d'Alba region, an area renowned for its unique terroir. The yield is 80q/ha, and the alcohol content is around 11% vol (12% vol for the "superior" version). This wine has been aged for at least one year outside of oak.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
