The Gamay Rosso from Maison D&D is a refined red wine that perfectly reflects the freshness and vibrancy of the Valle d'Aosta. Made from 100% Gamay grapes, sourced from hillside vineyards cultivated according to the Guyot system, this wine displays the balance of elegance and character typical of mountain wines. The grapes are harvested by hand in late September and carefully vinified to preserve their pure aromas and structure.
After a gentle pressing, the wine undergoes maceration on the skins and controlled fermentation with daily reassembly. Aging in stainless steel vats preserves the natural fruit expression and freshness. In the glass, a bright ruby red color appears, the intensity of which varies depending on the vintage. The aroma is delicate and intense, with notes of forest fruits and subtle hints of jam. On the palate, the wine is complex, supple, and warm, with a harmonious balance between softness and vibrant freshness.
