The Grauer Burgunder Trocken from the Affenflaschen series is a distinctively lively and expressive white wine that originated in the sun-drenched vineyards of Baden. In the glass, it shines with a beautiful grüngelbe colour and seduces with a fresh scent of apple and pear, which immediately makes you long for the first sip.
On the tongue, this Grauburgunder presents itself powerfully and invigoratingly. The harmonious combination of juicy fruit notes and lively acidity gives the wine remarkable depth and ensures a long-lasting taste experience. This characterful wine is dry in style, but with a nice roundness that makes it accessible to a wide audience.
As a gastronomic companion, it especially shines with fried fish, lamb or game dishes. It also comes into its own with hearty vegetable dishes. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, a residual sweetness of 5.0 g/l and a fresh acidity of 6.0 g/l, this quality wine has a storage potential of three to four years. For the ideal taste experience, a serving temperature between 8 and 10 °C is recommended.
