The Kunst:Werk Gewürztraminer from the Bühlertaler Engelsfelsen is a powerful and expressive quality dry wine with a distinct character. Its typical deep, golden yellow colour reflects the intensity of this aromatic grape variety. In the nose, a sumptuous bouquet of mirabelle, ripe Williams pear and exotic pineapple develops, subtly supported by fine wood tones. Spicy accents of nutmeg, clove and a hint of cinnamon give this wine impressive depth.
On the palate, the intensity continues. The wine is powerful but elegant, with a long and aromatic finish that enchants the senses. The harmonious balance between the richness of flavours, mild acidity and a slight residual sweetness make this Gewürztraminer a true taste experience.
This wine comes out particularly well with refined dishes such as terrines of meat or foie gras. It also makes an excellent match with spicy soft cheeses, blue cheese or savoury cheese appetisers. Thanks to its pronounced aroma and taste, it is also very suitable as an aperitif. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, a residual sweetness of 5.0 g/l and acidity of 4.5 g/l, this wine is a true work of art in the glass between 8 and 10 °C - and will remain so for at least three to four years.
