The Spätburgunder Rosé from the Affenflaschen series is an elegant rosé that immediately manages to seduce both visually and aromatically. With its copper-coloured sheen and a rich, dense aroma of ripe red berries and cherries, this wine shows what the Spätburgunder grape has to offer as a rosé too.
On the palate, it offers a powerful and expressive profile with a nice tension between fruitiness, freshness and a fine sweet touch. The structure is lively, with a playful body that makes the glass interesting again and again. Its residual sweetness of 22 g/l is balanced by a fresh acidity of 7.0 g/l, making for a harmonious and pleasant drinking experience.
This rosé is perfect with light dishes such as salmon, fresh salads or other summer meals. It also comes into its own purely as a refreshing companion at a sunny garden party. With an alcohol content of 11.5%, it is light and drinkable, ideal to drink young within three to four years. Serve it chilled, at a temperature of 8 to 10 °C.
