Why this name
Not your average wine festival in Utrecht
Not Your Average Winefestival is the wine festival of Utrecht, on 11 and 12 September 2026. At most wine festivals an importer pours you a familiar label and you move on to the next stand. Not here: the winemakers themselves stand behind the table, the people who prune, harvest and vinify. You taste their wines, hear why a vintage became what it is, and buy straight from the maker, without any middleman.
You might still know our festival as the ONWINE Harvest Festival or the Winemakers' Festival. Same soul, new name. Over four editions it grew into the wine festival in Utrecht for true enthusiasts. In September we are back, two days long, as our harvest edition: a celebration of the harvest and a beautiful wine year, together with the makers who brought it to the glass.

How it looked
Four editions of celebration
Four times before we landed in Utrecht, from the Harvest Festival to the Winemakers' Festival. Thousands of glasses, dozens of makers pouring their own wine, and evenings that ran late. No stands with familiar labels, but the people who make the wine themselves. That is how it grew into one of the most characterful wine festivals in the Netherlands. This is the atmosphere you taste again on 11 and 12 September.

Mainstage
The line-up: 6 winemakers
Six small European estates travel to Utrecht and pour themselves. We are keeping the names to ourselves for now and revealing them one by one. Follow us and be there when the mask drops.
