The Riesling Trocken 2023 from Furst Hohenlohe Oehringen is a light, tropical white wine made from 100% Riesling and can be enjoyed on its own.
The Riesling 2023 shows in the glass with a light straw yellow color, fresh and inviting. In both aroma and taste, notes of citrus, apple and subtle hints of pineapple are evident, giving the wine a lively and fruity character. The acidity is excellently balanced and creates a pleasant tension on the palate. Subtle and fresh, this Riesling can also be enjoyed perfectly without food.
The wine is fully raised in stainless steel tanks, which emphasizes its purity and fruity freshness. The terroir consists mainly of Gipskeuper, which gives the wine its unique minerality and structure. With an alcohol content of 12.0%, this Riesling is drinking pleasure until 2030, if served at an optimal temperature of 6 to 8°C.
