Agnelli Viassone's Barbera d'Alba is a red wine made from 100% Barbera grapes that perfectly complements heartier dishes with meat or cheese.
The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard with a northwesterly exposure, the first harvest of which took place in 2020. The grapes are harvested by hand and collected in perforated crates. After harvesting, the wine is aged for 10 months in tonneau barrels. Some of the grapes come from the vineyard below the winery, which has a westerly exposure and gives the wine a firm structure. The remainder comes from the vineyard with the "ciabot," which ensures good freshness in the wine even in drier years. The wine has an intense ruby red color with distinct aromas of forest fruits, blackberry, and raspberry on the nose, recognizable with hints of spice. Upon tasting, the wine is distinguished by its fruitiness, harmony, pleasant flavor, and full body. The wine has an alcohol percentage of 14.5% vol.
