Product description
This Alta Langa DOCG is a refined sparkling wine made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir according to the appellation's strict production rules. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented using the classic method, after which the wine is aged on the lees for no less than 36 months in a temperature-controlled environment. The dégorgement is done with wine from the same cuvée, ensuring maximum purity and consistency. Production is limited, which makes this wine even more special.
In the glass, it is straw yellow with subtle greenish reflections. The mousse is fine and persistent, perfectly integrated into the structure of the wine. The nose reveals a refined and harmonious bouquet with notes of candied fruit and brioche bread, characteristic of the long ageing on the lees. The aromas are elegant, balanced and linger beautifully.
On the palate, the wine is fresh and creamy at the same time, with a pleasant acidity that provides tension and length. The finish is savoury and persistent, with a nice balance between elegance and intensity. A serious and gastronomic Alta Langa, ideal for refined aperitif moments or as an accompaniment to light fish dishes and shellfish.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
