    What is Priorat wine?

    Priorat is a small, mountainous wine region in Catalonia with Spain's highest quality classification: DOQ, a status the country shares only with Rioja. The region is known for powerful, concentrated red wines from old vines grown on steep hillsides.

    Which grapes are used to make Priorat wine?

    The base is usually Garnacha and Cariñena, often blended with Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah. The low yield of the old vines and the region's distinctive slate soil (llicorella) give the wines a more intense, mineral character than most other Spanish wine regions.

    What about the shipping costs?

    Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery.
    All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.

    To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.

    The following shipping costs apply:

    • 6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
    • 12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs

    You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
