The Roero Arneis DOCG Bastia 2023 is a white wine from the Bastia area in Vezza d’Alba, Piedmont, Italy, made from 100% Arneis grapes, hand-picked from vineyards with coarse sand and sandstone. It’s vinified in steel tanks at 18 °C for 15 days, with no malolactic fermentation, keeping its fresh and pure character. With its straw-yellow color and 13.5% alcohol, this wine offers a lively reflection of the Roero terroir.
Its scent is intense and lasting, with clear hints of apricot and apple, finished with soft chamomile notes that round off the bouquet. This aroma blends fruity freshness with gentle floral finesse, giving it an inviting and versatile personality. It’s a wine that excites your senses and invites you to taste more.
On the tongue, the Bastia is savory, well-structured, and harmonious, with a dry finish (0.5 g/l sugar) and total acidity of 5.90 g/l. It’s an excellent match for hors-d’oeuvres, pasta and risotto dishes, and seafood, where its balance enhances the flavors beautifully. Serve it at 10-12 °C in a Bordeaux bottle with a natural cork.

Wij hebben deze wijn mogen proeven in een restaurant in Piemonte. We hebben het adres genoteerd en zijn bij de producent "aan huis" geweest. Een leuke ervaring en zo ook meteen wat doosjes gekocht. Nu kunnen we via onwine deze heerlijke wijn weer bestellen. Top.
