Riesling Sekt Brut 2022 is a sophisticated sparkling wine that has spent nearly 25 months in bottle fermentation, which contributes to the wine's complexity and depth. This Sekt is produced with traditional bottle fermentation and has an alcohol content of 12.0%. It offers drinking pleasure until 2028 at an ideal drinking temperature of 8°C.

Tasting Notes: The nose reveals aromas of apricot and apple peel, while the mouth refreshes with citrus and apple flavors. The fine perlage provides a pleasant texture, and the wine has a lasting and fruity character, making it not only perfect as an aperitif, but also goes well with a variety of dishes.

Vintage characteristics: The 2022 vintage was challenging due to late frosts in the spring, little sun in the summer and above-average rainfall, resulting in a demanding vintage. In addition to high infection pressure from fungal diseases, a lot of handwork and attention was paid to the vineyards, resulting in highly selective manual picking. This makes it a true “cool climate vintage.”
