This Grechetto from Umbria perfectly demonstrates why this indigenous grape is so beloved in central Italy. The wine is made from 100% Grechetto and fermented in its pure form to allow the character of the grape to fully express itself. It is then aged in large, lightly toasted oak barrels, which adds complexity without overpowering the fresh fruit expression. The result is an elegant and characterful white wine that combines tradition and terroir.
In the glass, the wine displays an intense golden yellow color. The nose opens with aromas of white peach and ripe stone fruit, followed by subtle citrus nuances.
