Give a winemaker every month, for a whole year
With this gift the recipient receives a box from a different small winemaker every month for twelve months, each from a different region. Every box comes with a digital tasting in which the winemaker tells the story of the vineyard, the harvest and the bottles in the box. Twelve boxes, twelve makers, twelve stories: something to look forward to every month for a year. After the twelfth box it simply stops.
Who it is for
Twelve months is the gift that keeps on giving: as a corporate gift, for a milestone birthday, a retirement or just because. It is also the length with the lowest price per box. Not sure yet? The page gift a wine subscription shows all lengths side by side, from 2 to 12 months.
How it works
Choose 3 or 6 bottles per box above and pay the full amount once. At checkout, enter the recipient's address as the delivery address (choose "Ship to a different address"), tell us from which month we may start and what the card should say. We write the card by hand and put it in the first box. After that we send a new box every month, in the second week of the month. The recipient gets no bill, no direct debit and has nothing to cancel.
Want to hand over the gift yourself? Then we send the first box to your own address a few days early; the deliveries after that go straight to the recipient. Put it in the comments at checkout and we will arrange it.
What is in every box
3 or 6 bottles from one winemaker, put together by the maker: red, white and sometimes something special, often wines you will not find anywhere else. Over a year all the seasons come by, from crisp whites in summer to full-bodied reds in winter. Each box comes with that winemaker's digital tasting, with the story of the estate, the winemaking and what to eat with it. The recipient also gets a year of discount on our wine tastings in Utrecht and Amsterdam.
Price
3 bottles per box: €480 for twelve months, which is €40 per box and €13.33 per bottle.
6 bottles per box: €840 for twelve months, which is €70 per box and €11.67 per bottle.
Prices include VAT and shipping within the Netherlands. This is the best-value length per box, and with 6 bottles you pay the least per bottle.

What about the shipping costs?
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery.
All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
