Product description
Bodega Bravo Escos' Pas dels Caus 2022 is a lively and characterful red wine from the rugged landscape of Priorat. Sourced from several vineyards around Torroja del Priorat, this wine reflects the wild nature of the area, where rocky soils and extreme conditions create grapes with intense expression. Old vines, planted more than 20 years ago, form the basis of this complex and layered cuvée.
The wine is produced with respect for nature, focusing on sustainable farming and a conversion to organic certification. After spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the must undergoes maceration for six to eight days, followed by slow pressing. Maturation takes place in a combination of innovative polyethylene eggs and French oak barrels, ensuring freshness as well as structure and depth.
In the glass, the wine shows itself fresh and expressive, with aromas of red fruits such as raspberries, complemented by citrus, floral notes and spicy accents of fennel and lavender. On the palate, it is soft but lively, with supple tannins and a fresh energy that gives the wine length and tension. The finish reveals a distinctive mineral touch of graphite, typical of Priorat's slate soils.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
