In the hills of the Côtes du Rhône Villages, where sun and wind combine to produce concentrated grapes, "Les Grès" is created: a wine with power, depth and refinement. Old vines here produce grapes of intense expression, giving this cuvée an authentic and characterful image of the region. It is a wine that immediately impresses, but also continues to surprise.
The blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah comes from carefully selected parcels with old vines. Traditional cultivation and mechanical harvesting are followed by a long maceration, optimally extracting colour, structure and aromas. This results in a wine with a firm body and a nice balance between power and elegance.
In the glass, the wine shines with a ruby red colour. The nose opens with a refined combination of cassis, violets and a hint of liquorice. On the palate, smoky notes emerge, carried by soft, slightly sweet tannins that make for a round and warm finish. A wine that is both intense and accessible, perfect for lovers of full-bodied Rhone wines.
