The Il Picchio Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi is a fresh and lively white wine from the Marche region, made from 100% Verdicchio. This characterful grape is known for its refined aromatic expression and excellent balance between fruit, freshness and minerality. Thanks to the mild climate and the influence of the Adriatic Sea, the wine develops an elegant style that fits perfectly with the culinary traditions of central Italy.
In the glass, this Verdicchio presents itself with a bright, straw yellow colour. The aroma opens with fresh aromas of citrus, green apple and subtle notes of white blossom. On the palate, the wine is tight and juicy, with lively acidity and a delicate minerality that adds tension and length.
