The Goldmuskateller is a grape variety that makes no secret of its aromatic character: that lychee aroma is immediately apparent the moment you pick up the glass. After 48 hours of maceration, the wine is aged reductively in stainless steel tanks, which keeps that typical aromatic richness completely intact. A wine with character.
In the glass, the colour is a bright pale yellow with a subtle golden sheen. The nose is exuberant and seductive, with that typical lychee aroma complemented by a delicate, elegant spiciness. On the palate, the wine is slightly sweet and pleasantly subtly spicy, with a soft texture that lingers. A wine with just the right amount of sweetness to entice, without becoming cloying.
The Goldmuskateller is a delightful wine for cosy evenings, and it pairs surprisingly well with a wide range of dishes.
