The Federleicht 2025 is the innovative alcohol-free cuvée from Weingut Jonas Kiefer, and it proves that you don’t need alcohol to enjoy a delicious glass of wine. Three aromatic grape varieties from Rheinhessen come together: Scheurebe, Goldmuskateller and Sauvignon Blanc. Following reductive ageing in stainless-steel tanks, the wine is gently de-alcoholised using a vacuum process at very low temperatures. This ensures that the delicate fruit aromas and lively freshness remain completely intact. So, no compromise – just a wine in its own right.
In the glass, it displays a clear, pale yellow colour. The nose is exuberant and aromatic, with a interplay of blackcurrant and gooseberry from the Scheurebe, elegant summer flowers from the Goldmuskateller and the crisp fruitiness of the Sauvignon Blanc. On the palate, the wine is fresh, pleasantly lively and well-balanced, with a harmonious profile that takes you by surprise. Because this doesn’t taste like ‘alcohol-free’ – it simply tastes like wine.
