Product description
Maison D&D's Petite Arvine - Vallée d'Aoste DOC is an elegant and refined white wine that sublimely reflects the finesse of the indigenous Petite Arvine grape. The grapes are harvested by hand in early October, at the time when they have reached their optimal balance between aroma and freshness. Cultivation according to the Guyot system and careful selection in the vineyard fully preserve the natural expression of the terroir.
After a short cold maceration, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented under controlled temperature. The wine then ages in stainless steel vats on fine yeasts ("sur lies"), with weekly bâtonnages adding depth, creaminess and complexity. In the glass, it shines bright straw yellow, while the bouquet opens up with intense floral and fruity aromas, including notes of exotic fruit. On the palate, it is harmonious and mineral, with a refined structure and a long, juicy finish that betrays its mountain origins.
The Petite Arvine - Vallée d'Aoste DOC is an excellent companion to local cheeses such as Fontina, refined starters, white meat and fish dishes. Its freshness and elegance make it a versatile wine that shines both with a meal and on its own.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
