Campania wines
Campania, located in southern Italy, is a region rich in history and stunning landscapes. With ancient cities like Pompeii and Herculaneum and the famous Mount Vesuvius, this region has a deep historical legacy. Campania also has a long tradition of winemaking that dates back to ancient Roman times. Aglianico is the most well-known grape variety from Campania and is often called the "King of Southern Italy." Aglianico wines, such as Taurasi, are known for their deep colors, firm tannins, and complex flavors of dark fruit, leather, and spices.
