The Barbera d'Asti DOCG is an elegant red wine made from the characterful Barbera grape. With its ruby red color and intense aromas, this wine immediately manages to seduce. The grapes are carefully destemmed and gently pressed before maceration and fermentation begin. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, which gives it its full and soft structure. It then matures for another 10 to 12 months in stainless steel tanks before being bottled.
The result is a full-bodied, pleasant wine with deep flavor and a perfect balance between freshness and ripeness. Its characteristic aroma and complex structure make this wine a true experience. Thanks to the chalky, clayey soils on which the grapes grow and the southern to southwestern exposure of the vineyards, the Barbera d'Asti DOCG develops a distinct and refined character.
This wine is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 16Ā°C - 18Ā°C and makes an excellent companion to hearty main dishes. It pairs beautifully with flavorful meat dishes, rich sauces and aged cheeses, taking every meal to a higher level.
