The Piemonte DOC Chardonnay from Poggio is an elegant white wine made with care and craftsmanship. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, which are hand-picked in small baskets to preserve their pure and authentic character. The grapes are gently pressed, after which fermentation and aging take place in steel tanks under controlled temperatures. A small part is aged in acacia barriques, which provides subtle notes of vanilla and an extra layer of complexity.
The vineyards, located in Castel Boglione at an altitude of 430 meters with an eastern exposure, provide optimal growing conditions. With an average age of 30 years, the vines produce high-quality grapes, which can be tasted in every sip. This Piemonte Chardonnay is full of flavor and has a soft, refined finish with fresh notes of apple and a hint of vanilla.
