Miali's Chardonnay Single Vineyard is an elegant white wine from the heart of the Valle d'Itria, from carefully selected vineyards at an altitude of 300 metres above sea level. Harvested by hand in early September, the grapes grow on clayey soils and are guided on low espalier using the Guyot pruning system. After a short cryo-maceration and gentle pressing, the wine matures in stone tanks to retain its purity and minerality.
The wine has a bright straw yellow colour with fresh, greenish reflections. On the nose, it presents lively aromas of white flowers and tropical fruits, especially pineapple. On the palate, this Chardonnay is fresh and mineral, with refined, salty undertones and a pleasant, fruity finish that invites a second glass.
Thanks to its refreshing character and light structure, this wine is perfect as an aperitif. It also goes perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish and light soups. Serve it well chilled at 10°C to fully express its finesse and aromatic intensity.
