This sparkling rosé from Saumur is an elegant interpretation of Cabernet Franc, with delicate bubbles and a seductive light salmon pink colour. In the glass, it sparkles with a delicate mousse and an inviting aroma of raspberry, wild strawberry and red currant, complemented by floral notes of rose and peony and a subtle hint of citrus.
On the palate, this Saumur Brut Rosé is lively and fresh. The fine paring carries flavours of crisp red fruit, citrus zest and a subtle chalky minerality. This wine combines tension and refinement, with a dry, elegant finish that lingers for a long time. The aging 'sur lattes' of at least 12 months gives extra complexity and balance to this stylish cuvée.
Perfect as a chic aperitif, but also an excellent companion to light dishes such as fish carpaccio, summer salads or red fruit desserts. Serve well chilled, between 7 and 9°C, to best show off the full aromatic character and finesse of this rosé sparkling wine.
