The IGP Var Argens "Florilège" Rosé is an award-winning rosé wine from Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, produced with extreme care and respect for the terroir. The wine is made from a blend of 25% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, 45% Grenache and 10% Cinsault, from vines that are between 8 and 30 years old. These grapes grow on healthy clay-limestone soils, which guarantee accessible, structured and fruity wines.
Vinification takes place with attention to detail and sustainability. The grapes are harvested at night to preserve their freshness, after which they are immediately pressed and lightly clarified. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures, between 14 and 15°C, for three weeks in enamelled concrete vats. This process creates a subtle and harmonious aroma, reflecting the character of the terroir.
In the glass, the "Florilège" Rosé presents itself with a lively freshness. The wine offers a nice interplay of red summer fruit and citrus nuances, supported by invigorating acidity and mineral structure. This rosé is versatile: great as an aperitif with tapas, but also an ideal companion to grilled dishes, pizzas or creamy cheeses. Serve the wine at a temperature between 10 and 12°C to fully enjoy its expression. With an alcohol content of 12.5% and a storage potential of 2 to 3 years, this is a fresh and balanced rosé that earned a medal at the Paris 2024 Concours Général Agricole.
