La Montina's Franciacorta Rosé Demi Sec is a sophisticated and seductively smooth sparkling wine, in which 65% Pinot Nero and 35% Chardonnay come together in perfect harmony. The short maceration on the skins of the Pinot Nero gives the wine its elegant rosé colour, as well as a seductive aroma and rich flavour of small red berries from the forest. The Chardonnay adds a fresh and elegant touch, creating a refined and balanced aromatic profile.
In the glass, the Rosé Demi Sec shines with a lively, persistent mousse and a lush softness on the palate. The aroma is fruity and inviting, while the palate is characterised by ripe red fruit and a subtle creaminess, supported by a residual sugar level of 33 grams per litre that gives the wine its velvety roundness without sacrificing freshness.
After maturing for at least 26 months on the yeasts, this Franciacorta is an excellent companion to soft cheeses and desserts, but also surprisingly delicious with fresh fruit as an end to the meal. Served at 7°C, it shows its full expression and turns any moment into an elegant and festive occasion.
