Winemaker Masterclass: Vinicola Arno
5,6 & 8 February
Right after our first masterclass of the year, we’re kicking things up a notch with none other than Vinicola Arno. Starting Thursday, Alice and Sara will be in-store with their wines from Piemonte. Vinicola Arno is the result of several generations of winemakers in a region where wine has been produced for more than two centuries. Since 2018, the pace has accelerated, yet the family hasn’t abandoned traditional craftsmanship or its own distinctive style. Their mission is clear: to create wines that express the character of their land. Pure, honest, and authentic. Barbera plays a leading role, alongside the native grape Nascetta, which is rarely found outside Piemonte. At Arno, Barbera is vinified in several ways, including as Nizza. The queen of Barbera. Only a handful of producers are allowed to make Nizza due to strict regulations and high quality standards. During the masterclass, you’ll be able to taste their Nizza, as well as Nascetta, Alta Langa, and Barbera d’Asti. In short: Piemonte at its finest. Drop by, meet the makers, and discover why Vinicola Arno is increasingly in the spotlight.

Wijnmakers Masterclass: La Montina

In April, La Montina from Franciacorta is coming to our concept store for a Masterclass. From Friday, April 17th to Sunday, April 19th, the Bozza family — proud custodians of this historic estate since 1982, will be joining us in the shop. In the heart of Lombardy, among the rolling hills surrounding Lake Iseo, their grapes ripen into what is often referred to as the “Champagne of Italy”: Franciacorta. La Montina is anything but an ordinary winery. What began as a 17th-century villa in 1620 has grown into one of the region’s icons, complete with an impressive wine cellar, an art gallery, and most importantly: wines that elevate Franciacorta to new heights. No gimmicks, no frills — just craftsmanship, patience, and a deep respect for nature. From the crisp Satèn to the bold Rosé and the elegant Brut Millesimato, every glass is a tribute to terroir, tradition, and time. For three days, brothers Michele and Daniele will guide you through the world of sparkling perfection. Expect bubbles with character, finesse, and above all — a story to tell.
