Since July 2026, winemakers from all over Europe have been hosting masterclasses in our shop at De Clercqstraat 130 in Amsterdam West. That turns a wine tasting in Amsterdam into a meeting with the maker in person.

How it works
Wine tasting in Amsterdam with the maker at the table
Amsterdam has no shortage of wine bars and tastings, but nowhere else does the winemaker pour your glass in person. During our masterclasses you taste several wines from a single estate, from Barolo to natural wine, and ask the maker anything you like. More intimate than a wine festival, more personal than a course. The winemaker usually stays for the whole weekend: you simply pick the session that suits you. And a few times a year we go big, when our Not Your Average Winefestival lands in Utrecht and you taste dozens of wines from several makers at once.
Every wine you taste can be ordered on the spot. Take it home right away, or order a case (6 bottles) or more and we deliver free by cargo bike within 5 km of De Clercqstraat. Further away? Your order arrives at home the following week, anywhere in the Netherlands.

Our shop in Amsterdam West
The tastings take place in our wine shop at De Clercqstraat 130, the lively shopping street between the Jordaan and De Baarsjes. Trams 13 and 19 stop practically at the door; from Amsterdam Central Station you are here in fifteen minutes. Parking is available at Q-Park De Hallen, a few minutes' walk away.

How much does a wine tasting in Amsterdam cost? ▾
A masterclass costs €15 per person. You taste several wines with commentary from the winemaker in person. Reserve your tickets via the ticket link at each event.
What is the Not Your Average Winefestival? ▾
A few times a year we host our own wine festival at Kanaal30 in Utrecht, just half an hour by train from Amsterdam. Six European winemakers pour their own wines, you taste more than fifty of them and join a free masterclass of your choice. The next edition is on 27 and 28 November 2026; all details are on the festival page.
Can I come with a group or company outing? ▾

How do I get there by public transport? ▾
Trams 13 and 19 stop at the De Clercqstraat halt, practically at the door. From Amsterdam Central Station tram 13 gets you here in about fifteen minutes.
