The Muffato delle Streghe Umbria White Sweet I.G.T. is a refined organic dessert wine made from Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. This exclusive wine owes its unique character to the noble rot, Botrytis cinerea, which develops under specific climatic conditions. The combination of morning mist and afternoon sun causes this particular fungus to develop, giving the grapes a concentrated and complex flavor. The harvest lasts several weeks, during which only the bunches with the correct mold formation are carefully selected by hand. After light pressing, the juice ferments and the wine then matures for 2-3 years in wooden barrels.
With its bright, golden yellow color and enchanting aromas of honey, candied fruit and caramel, this wine offers a true taste experience. Its rich structure and spicy, caramelized notes provide a perfect balance between sweetness and complexity.
