The 'Causan' Langhe DOC Nebbiolo 2023 is an elegant red wine made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes. These grapes thrive in chalky soils with a strong presence of tuff and are carefully harvested to ensure the highest quality. The wine undergoes traditional vinification, where after destemming and pressing, the grapes undergo maceration and alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation then takes place, after which the wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in wooden barrels. This process gives the wine its refined character and complexity.
In the glass, the wine presents itself with a beautiful ruby-red color and subtle orange hues, typical of Nebbiolo. The bouquet is delicate and soft, with a distinctive aroma that invites the first sip. The palate is dry and full-bodied, with a velvety texture that lingers on the tongue.
