12 and 13 December: the ONWINE Winemakers’ Festival. Winemakers from all ONWINE countries are coming to the Netherlands to let you taste their best wines.
The Weisser Burgunder Trocken from Weingut Marx is made from the Weisser Burgunder grape. With an alcohol content of 13% vol. and from the 2022 vintage, this wine falls into the category of quality German wine from the Mosel region.
The wine is dry in taste, offering a light and fresh flavour profile with notes of citrus and pear. It is aged in a stainless steel tank and produced using conventional methods. The grapes grow on soils of shell limestone, which contributes to the wine's unique minerality.
This wine is best served at 6-8°C and makes an excellent companion to light and bright dishes such as seafood, veal, fish or poultry.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
