Esker Wit Chardonnay Barrique is a full-bodied, refined white wine in which richness and elegance go hand in hand. Made from carefully selected Chardonnay grapes from Twente's unique Esker terroir, this wine immediately brings complexity and character to the glass. The nose is seduced with aromas of ripe white fruits such as peach and pear, subtly intertwined with notes of vanilla, toasted wood and a hint of nutmeg.
The wine underwent an eight-month wood aging in French oak, resulting in a soft, creamy texture and layered flavour experience. Despite the rich wood influence, the wine retains its fresh structure, remaining elegant and lively. The balance between fruit and oak is particularly refined, with a long, harmonious finish that makes every sip memorable.
This Chardonnay Barrique is ideally suited to serve with rich dishes such as grilled salmon, roast chicken or creamy casseroles such as parsnip gratin or a classic chicken ragout. Serve lightly chilled, between 8 and 10 Ā°C, to fully bring out its full character and subtle nuances. A true luxury from Twente in every drop.
