The Rosé Brut 2022 from Domein Holset is a refined quality sparkling wine from the Limburg Hill Country, made according to the traditional method. The blend of 75% chardonnay and 25% pinot noir comes from sustainably managed vineyards in Holset and on the Fromberg near Voerendaal. The grapes were hand-picked and, after gentle pressing, fermented and aged on stainless steel. Full malolactic transformation ensures elegant acidity and harmonious structure.
In the glass, the Rosé Brut presents itself with a brilliant salmon-pink colour and a fine, persistent mousse. The aroma is expressive and fruity, with notes of red fruit and a hint of citrus zest. The taste is fresh, dry and refined, with lively acidity (6.8 g/l) and a soft dosage of 6 g/l. Thanks to 24 months of aging on yeast and bottle aging until April 2025, this wine has depth and balance.
With its elegant style, the Rosé Brut is a festive aperitif, but also an excellent companion to light dishes such as smoked salmon, carpaccio, or summer salads. A pure expression of Limburg terroir in effervescent form.
