Sisto Biasin Rosso is a red wine made from 100% Merlot and is best drunk with a good piece of red meat, but can also be perfectly drunk with various types of firm cheeses.

In the southern part of the Colli Berici, Vicenza region (VI), thrives a remarkable wine that reflects the region's unique terroir. The vineyards, strategically placed for optimal sun exposure and favourable temperature variations, house carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested by hand.

The soils, of Eocene origin and calcareous, contribute to the expression of the terroir and grape characteristics. The grapes thrive here under the unique climate and soil conditions, resulting in a tribute to the 2018 vintage.

When poured, the wine reveals a subtle ruby colour, bright and transparent. The visual aspect promises a refined experience that catches the eye.

At the first fragrant breath, the senses are greeted by immediate aromas of freshly cut grass, followed by nuances of violets, marasca cherries, plums and blackcurrants. A touch of black pepper, liquorice and tobacco add complexity to the fragrance.

At the first sip, the wine envelops the palate with a precise, agile and flavourful sensation. Dry, with sufficient freshness and pronounced saltiness, accompanied by a pleasant bitterness characteristic of the grape variety. The subtle balsamic character emerges in a soft finish.

This 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in stainless steel tanks and then 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels, embodies the essence of the vintage and the art of winemaking. At 14% alcohol by volume, it is an expressive addition to the world of Italian wines, ready to enchant the senses with its subtle complexity and lively character.
