Ômina Romana's Hermes Diactoros II 2023 is a lively and expressive white wine that takes its inspiration from Hermes, the Greek messenger of the gods, symbol of speed, elegance and creativity. This cuvée embodies exactly that: freshness, energy and a pure representation of the volcanic soils of the Castelli Romani, which give the wine its distinctive minerality and depth. The grapes are harvested in the first week of September, when they have reached their perfect balance between freshness and aromatic richness.
After careful vinification, the wine matures for six months in stainless steel tanks, followed by two months of bottle rest to allow its aromas to fully meld. In the glass, it shines bright golden yellow, with a rich and layered bouquet of ripe exotic fruit, citrus zest, white pepper, magnolia and aromatic spices, supported by a subtle hint of eucalyptus and honey. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with refined freshness and a long, saline-mineral finish that beautifully reflects its volcanic origins.
The Hermes Diactoros II 2023 is a wine of character and elegance, ideal as an aperitif or paired with roasted fish, seafood, white meat or spicy dishes. Serve at 10-12 °C to fully appreciate its lively aromas and fresh structure.
