This Pinot Noir Barrique from Eskerwijn is a refined, elegant red wine that is all about purity and balance. Made from 100% Pinot Noir and sourced from the 2024 harvest, this wine shows how finesse and depth can go hand in hand. A year of aging in oak gives the wine extra complexity without overpowering the delicate character of the grape.
In the glass, it opens with refined aromas of ripe cherries and red berries, followed by subtle spicy notes from the oak aging. The palate is soft and supple, with an elegant structure and a fine tension between fruit and wood. Everything remains beautifully balanced, making the wine both accessible and serious.
This Pinot Noir Barrique is best served slightly chilled, around 14–16 °C. It pairs beautifully with red meat, but also works surprisingly well with salmon or soft cheeses. With its modest alcohol content of 13.5% and its compact 0.5-liter bottle, this is a wine that invites attentive enjoyment, glass by glass.
