Ormeasco di Pornassio DOC Superiore is a warm, characterful version of the indigenous Ormeasco grape. The high altitude and the seventy-year age of the vines ensure a low yield with concentrated grapes of exceptional quality. This wine is the result of a careful selection of the very best bunches from the estate's oldest vineyard plot. The taste is dry, full, and elegant, with a long finish in which the use of oak is subtly interwoven without being overpowering.
Ormeasco di Pornassio DOC is a soft, fruity version of the Ormeasco grape. According to tradition, Ormeasco was introduced to this area by the Saracens during their invasions, giving it a unique place in the history of the region. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, where a short maceration of four to five days on the skins at around 25 degrees ensures an expressive, fruity style without excessive extraction. This allows the wine to retain its freshness and elegance.
'Sciac-Trà' Ormeasco di Pornassio DOC is the refined, fresh rosé made from Ormeasco grapes. The name ‘Sciac-Trà’ originates from the Ligurian dialect and refers to the delicate process of "pressing and quickly draining," in which the grape skins remain in contact with the juice for only a short time to obtain a light, elegant color and a fresh style. Serve this wine lightly chilled, between 14 and 16 degrees, to fully enjoy its expressive freshness and elegance.
'Giuanò' Pigato Superiore DOC Riviera Ligure di Ponente is an expressive, complex version of the Pigato grape. These grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of over 500 meters in the Ligurian hinterland. This unique location, combined with large temperature differences between day and night during the harvest in late October, ensures exceptional aromatic richness in the grapes. 'Giuanò' is named after grandfather Giuanò and proudly carries on the family's heritage and tradition.
2x 'Montania' Pigato DOC Riviera Ligure di Ponente is an elegant, fresh version of the Pigato grape. In the glass, ‘Montania’ presents itself as dry, with good structure and a pleasant, long finish. This Pigato is a perfect accompaniment to fish dishes, shellfish, and crustaceans, as well as dishes from Ligurian cuisine in which vegetables and aromatic herbs play the leading role. The name 'Pigato' refers to the typical dark dots “pighe” that appear on the grapes upon full ripening. Serve ‘Montania’ at 12 to 15 degrees to fully experience its refined character.
