Hof Breitenstein's Chardonnay Brut Nature Sekt - Traditionelle Flaschengärung from the Nahe region is an elegant sparkling wine that focuses on purity and precision. The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay and undergoes a second fermentation in bottle using the traditional method (traditionelle Flaschengärung). This method, familiar from Champagne, ensures a refined mousse and extra complexity. The Brut Nature style means that no or hardly any dosage is added after dégorgement, leaving the wine completely dry and pure.
The nose reveals fresh aromas of citrus, green apple and light brioche notes, complemented by subtle mineral accents. On the palate, the wine is tight and elegant, with lively acidity and a delicate mousse. The finish is dry, fresh and mineral, making this sekt ideal as an aperitif or with refined dishes.
