Sierra Almagrera Macabeo from Bodega Sierra Almagrera is a fresh and refined white wine from high-altitude vineyards at 1,200 metres in the Alpujarra region of Almería. The combination of altitude, sunshine and cool mountain influences creates a wine with tension, elegance and aromatic precision.
The 100% Macabeo grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected. Gentle pressing is followed by fermentation in small, temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with low temperatures maintaining freshness and aromatic purity. The wine then ages for two months on the lie, adding extra structure and finesse.
In the glass, the wine shows a bright, pale yellow colour. The nose opens with expressive aromas of tropical fruit, fennel and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a fine texture, mineral tension and an elegant, refreshing finish reminiscent of a cool mountain breeze.
