Schiefer Riesling Trocken from Weinhaus Hans Beth is a pure expression of the Moselle and its slate soils. This 100% Riesling reflects the terroir in its most honest form, with minimalist vinification creating a wine that focuses on freshness, tension and minerality. The result is a classic Mosel style that comes across as elegant and refined.
The wine is characterised by lively acidity that is perfectly balanced with subtle fruit notes. The influence of the slate soils lends a characteristic minerality and slightly spicy undertones. By deliberately intervening little during winemaking, the authenticity of grape and origin is fully preserved.
In the glass, it shows bright and fresh. The nose opens with delicate aromas of peach and green apple, supported by a fine spiciness. On the palate, it is tight and juicy, with energetic acidity and a long, mineral finish typical of high-quality Mosel Riesling.
