This Riesling Eiswein Edelsüß from Weinhaus Hans Beth is a rare and intensely concentrated dessert wine from the Moselle. Only in exceptional years, when the grapes remain on the vine for a long time and are hit by the first frost, can this special wine be produced. This makes each Eiswein a unique expression of nature and craftsmanship.
In the glass, the wine reveals a powerful and lush aroma of forest honey and ripe peach, with impressive concentration. On the palate, it is full and intense, with a pronounced sweetness beautifully carried by very high and lively acidity. This balance provides tension, freshness and a long, refined finish. The typical slate soils of the Moselle also give the wine a subtle minerality.
