Beth's Riesling Spätlese Halbtrocken from Weinhaus Hans Beth is a powerful and elegant Mosel Riesling with a delicate balance of ripe fruit and fresh acidity. Derived from slate-rich steep slopes, this wine combines the typical minerality of the region with a pronounced fruitiness and a slight residual sweetness.
The half-brown style creates a playful interplay between sweet and acid, with ripe fruit notes of yellow peach and mirabel coming out clearly. At the same time, lively acidity gives the wine tension and freshness, while a subtle spiciness adds depth and character.
In the glass, it shows bright and expressive. The nose is rich and fruity, while the palate is full and powerful, with a nice structure and a long, balanced finish. A versatile wine that can be used gastronomically as well as delicious on its own.
