Domaine Désertaux-Ferrand's Bourgogne Blanc 2024 is an elegant and refined white Burgundy that harmoniously combines Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. Sourced from old vines around forty-five years old, this wine combines fresh fruitiness with subtle creaminess and classic Burgundian finesse. The oak ageing gives extra depth and complexity without overpowering the wine's fresh character.
On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of white fruit, ripe pear and delicate white flowers. On the palate, it shows itself supple and elegant, with a nice balance of fresh acidity, soft wood influences and ripe fruit. The eight months of ageing in oak barrels add structure, roundness and a subtle spiciness. In the process, the wine retains its lively freshness and refined minerality, typical of Burgundy.
