The Finca Vasqueira Castes Tintas from D'Vagar Adegas is an exclusive red wine from Ribeiro, made from the indigenous Sousón and Caíño grape varieties. The grapes come from four carefully selected terraces in the middle section of Finca Vasqueira, where granite-rich soils and the Atlantic climate create wines with character, freshness and a distinct terroir expression. This wine reflects the authenticity of Galicia and the region's age-old tradition.
After harvesting, the grapes are fermented and then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. This ageing gives the wine extra structure, complexity and refinement, while preserving the lively character of the grapes. The combination of Sousón and Caíño produces a wine with depth, fresh acidity and an elegant balance between fruit, spiciness and subtle wood tones. The result is a characterful red wine that exudes both power and finesse.
With a limited production of only 600 bottles a year, Castes Tintas is among the domain's most exclusive wines. This wine pairs excellently with grilled meat, game dishes, stews and aged cheeses.
