D'Vagar Adegas' NAPEDRA Treixadura is a unique terroir wine that expresses the essence of Ribeiro in an unparalleled way. This special wine is made from 100% Treixadura sourced from Finca Vasqueira in O Ibedo, a historic vineyard in the Avia Valley. What makes this wine truly exceptional is that it is the first Treixadura from Ribeiro to ferment and age in granite eggs made from granite sourced from the same vineyard where the grapes grow. This creates a direct connection between soil, grape and wine.
The grapes are carefully selected by hand and sourced from sustainably managed vineyards that are fully focused on maintaining the natural balance of the ecosystem. After harvesting, the wine undergoes 11-month fermentation and aging in granite amphorae, reflecting the minerality of the terroir in the best possible way. In the glass, NAPEDRA presents itself with remarkable purity, refined structure and a pronounced mineral tension. The combination of Treixadura, granite and time results in an elegant wine with depth, precision and a long, refined finish.
With a limited production of only 2,000 bottles a year, NAPEDRA is among D'Vagar Adegas' most exclusive wines. This wine is excellent with refined fish dishes, seafood and gourmet preparations where finesse is key. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
